MS ended his career in the military yet God birthed a new experience in the proclamation of the GOSPEL (good news of Jesus Christ). Nine months prior to being diagnosed , he prayed to receive Jesus Christ as his Savior and Lord and was baptized in Honolulu, Hawaii. In 1989, he and his family relocated to the Washington, DC area and joined New Bible Baptist Church. The word of God was rich and deep at NBBC, while the evangelism and outreach energy did not fall short. He taught Sunday School, and preached his first sermon there. After seeking counsel from his Pastor he was licensed to preach the gospel then ordained in 1996 to the Gospel Ministry. In May 1999, Elder Bonner received his B.A. degree in Pastoral Ministry from the former Washington Bible College (now known as Lancaster Bible College) and his Masters of Divinity (M.
